Delvin Barnes will be turned over to the FBI today so he can be brought back to Philadelphia for a U.S. Court of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania hearing on Wednesday, according to a federal order obtained by NewsWorks content partner NBC10.

“Court documents filed Thursday night said the suspect confessed and told authorities he didn’t know the victim, whose abduction last Sunday was captured on surveillance video and seen nationwide,” according to the report.

NewsWorks will bring you more from any developments when Barnes returns to the city from which he allegedly forcibly abducted Carlesha Freeland-Gaither from a Germantown street.
