Reenactment ease

The Washington Crossing Christmas Day Reenactment gets a little easier today, if less authentic:

The park is putting in a boat ramp to assist the actors.

Today at 11 a.m., park officials and a re-enactor portraying George Washington will dedicate the new ramp that won’t only help the reenactment of Washington’s 1776 Delaware River crossing during the Revolutionary War, but also the efforts of rescue personnel year-round.

We’re not sure what the real George Washington would think of this – it sounds a little like cheating.
