Registration ends next week for new regional parochial school in Wallingford

March 26 is the registration deadline for the new Mother of Providence Regional Catholic School is Wallingford, Pa.

The school will be the new home of St. John Chrysostom and Nativity BVM schools, Patch reports, to be housed at the St. John site.
More than 150 people attended a meeting Thursday night to hear more details of the combined school — a merger recommended by the Archdiocese of Philadelphia’s Blue Ribbon Commission.

The school’s name is tentative, and parents registering their kids can vote on the current choice, or recommend something else. The school is also looking for a new principal since Mary Ann Johnston of Nativity BVM resigned from the future job.
