Redd announces camera system to discourage illegal dumping in Camden
Et tu, Camden?
Illegal dumpers will have a hard time unloading trash in yet another city.
Like Philadelphia, Camden is cracking down on trash-dumpers by using security cameras to deter and catch violators.
The Associated Press reports nine people have already been charged.
The City of Philadelphia currently has 16 cameras patrolling dumping hot-spots on a rotating basis, and an additional 12 are expected through a state grant.
