Priest tweets about stations of the cross for Holy Week, Easter

How ’bout a story about a priest that doesn’t include the words abuse, lawsuit or cover-up? Fr. Paddy Byrne opened a Twitter account on Ash Wednesday, and he’s using it to engage younger Catholics during holy week. Make that #holyweek.

Byrne spent the morning tweeting from his base in Ireland, sending inspriational messages and asking for prayers. Tonight’s he’s hosting “Tweet around the Cross” for the observance of the stations of the cross.
