Pregame huddle

Two men, each having been in their share of controversies, met head to head on Saturday, when the Rev. Jesse Jackson paid a quick visit to Eagles quarterback Michael Vick, the day before the Birds faced off against the Chicago Bears.

In this video from nbcphiladelphia.com, Jackson, with two of his grandsons in tow, stopped by the Eagles’ Chicago hotel expressly to meet Vick and congratulate him on his recent success. Jackson is a Chicago native and longtime Bears fan, but his wife was raised in Hampton, Va. – as was Vick.

The visit was capped off with a prayer circle, and several Eagles, hearing about the special visitor, came down to get a picture with the civil rights advocate and former presidential candidate.
