Postal worker ambushed by paintball-gun wielding thugs in Germantown

A 50-year-old postal worker was working his route on the 500 block of Manheim St. in Germantown Saturday afternoon when three men armed with paintball guns surrounded him and opened fire.

Police said the victim wasn’t taken to the hospital, but was struck in the face, arms and back by paint pellets around 2 p.m. Paint also hit the inside of his vehicle.

The trio of shooters – anywhere from 18 to 21 years old – emerged from a Saturn SUV that drove up behind him as he got out of his vehicle. They quickly fled in their own car afterwards.
