Port Authority warns of E-ZPass scam

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey is warning motorists about an email phishing scheme that’s targeting E-ZPass motorists.

The email advises customers that they have not paid and to service their accounts with a downloadable invoice.

The Port Authority is advising motorists to delete the email because the E-ZPass Service Center does not email invoices for payments.
