How do you prepare your taxes?

Tuesday is Tax Day, a couple days later than the customary April 15 deadline thanks to the weekend and a local holiday in Washington, D.C. (Thank you, Washington, D.C.) By midnight, your 1040s and various supplemental forms and schedules had better be post-marked and on their way to the IRS — assuming you haven’t done it already.

You all paid up? Expecting a refund? Or are your tax forms but a distant memory, goodie-two-shoes?

Do you prefer online tax preparation, or personal interaction with an accountant or tax professional?

If you’re waiting for the last minute, good luck to you. It’s not the worst way to spend a Monday evening. Expect some lines at the post office tomorrow.
