PolitiFact N.J. weighs in: Christie says he hasn’t raised taxes

    “I haven’t raised taxes in the time I’ve been the governor of New Jersey.”

    Those are the words of N.J. Gov. Chris Christie earlier this week at a news conference in Asbury Park. A statement like that is ripe for evaluation under PolitiFact N.J.’s “Truth-O-Meter,” so the folks there analyzed Christie’s claim for its accuracy.
