Police will check car seat safety Wednesday in South Philadelphia

Is your kid strapped in just right? If you bought the car seat will all the straps, locks, bells, whistles and adult-proof buckles, then you ought to at least make sure you’re using it correctly.

The 3rd District Police and PennDOT technicians will be at the South Philly Target Wednesday helping parents and caregivers make sure their Cheerio-spilling bundles of joy are safe in their seats. They’ll teach you how to install the seat properly if you haven’t already done so.

Inspections will be held from noon to 4 p.m., so schedule naptime accordingly.
