Police solve burglary with help from dead suspect

Police say that at first there didn’t appear to be anything suspicious about the body of a dead man found in a park named after a slain police officer.

The Bucks County Courier Times reports Saturday that a tattoo led police to suspect that the body was a 41-year-old Philadelphia resident whom they consider a serial burglar. The man’s identity wasn’t released.

A detective’s investigation found that a set of keys found on the man matched a Honda parked at a nearby development. Inside the car police found the man’s wallet, as well as a pry bar, about $600 cash and suspected heroin.
