Police shut down Love Park on rumors of flash-mob

On the warmest evening of 2011 Police closed Love Park Friday and arrested 10 to 15 teens for disorderly conduct, reports the Philadelphia Daily News.

Rumors spread that a possible flash mob was about to over run the park. Police shut down the area from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30p.m.

“We keep tabs on Internet chatter,” said Lt. D.F. Pace to the news.” We received credible information that flash-mob activity was going to form here,” added Pace.
