Authorities are investigating a bank robbery that occurred this afternoon in Brick.

Around 2:00 p.m., a white man entered TD Bank on Beaverson Boulevard in the township and demanded money from a teller, said Sgt. Neal Pedersen, Brick Police Department spokesman, in a release.

The man fled the scene with unknown proceeds toward Hooper Avenue, Pedersen said.

The spokesman describes the suspect, who remains at large, as a 6-foot tall, 170-pound white male with a beard, mustache, and black wavy hair. The man, said to be between 20- and 30-years-old, was wearing a grey sweatshirt and sunglasses.
