Police search for suspect wanted for multiple Pennypack Park rapes

Following the account from a third woman alleging rape on the 8000-block of Cresco Avenue in Pennypack Park, Philadelphia police have re-released the sketch of the man they believe is wanted for multiple attacks.

The sketch was first released in August after a woman told police she accepted a ride from an unknown man at 2:30 a.m. at Torresdale and Longshore avenues in Tacony and was then driven to the 8100-block of Cresco Avenue and sexually assaulted.

The first attack was reported in 2010. That July, a different woman told a similar story and described a similar vehicle. The third attack was reported two weeks ago by a woman who said she accepted a ride at Disston Street and Torresdale Avenue in August 2010 and was driven to and assaulted on the 8000-block of Cresco.

Authorities are looking for a white male, age 25 to 35 and approximately 5’9″ with a fair complexion. He has a medium build, light brown, close-cut hair and a neatly trimmed, close-cut mustache and goatee/beard. He also has left eyebrow, right ear and tongue piercings. He’s been seen in a white pickup truck with ladder racks and a dark blue minivan with an Eagles sticker in the back window.

Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call 215.686.TIPS (8477),  text a tip to PPD TIP or 773847, or submit a report online.
