Police release video of robbery at Germantown ATM

On Wednesday, Philadelphia Police released footage of a May 27 strong-arm robbery in Germantown during which three teens forced a man to withdraw money from an ATM on Greene Street.

The victim was reportedly walking along the 5800 block of Greene St. at 11:17 p.m. May 27 when up to five assailants attacked him. They then forced the man to take $180 from a nearby ATM before fleeing the scene on foot.

All five are described as being between 15 and 19 years old. Police did not have detailed descriptions of three of the attackers.

However, they described one as having a stocky build and wearing a blue T-shirt and jeans at the time of the assault, while another has a thin build and was wearing dark pants with light stripes down the side, with no shirt on.
