Police release video of Manayunk burglary suspect

The Philadelphia Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in response to a recent commercial burglary in Manayunk.

On March 14, 2013, at 3:52 a.m., an unknown male was captured on surveillance video inside a building on the 100 block of Leverington Avenue, which houses several small businesses. After forcing open an exterior door, the suspect caused damage to several doors within the building.

Despite the damage, police said nothing was taken during the incident.      

The suspect is described as a stocky, unshaven 20 year-old male with a goatee, race unknown, wearing a camouflage hooded down jacket, camouflage pants, black boots, and a dark baseball cap.

If you see this suspect, police ask you to avoid contact with him and to call 911 immediately.
