Police officer in stable condition after being struck in Center City

    A Philadelphia police office sustained non-life-threatening injuries this morning when she was hit by a car.

    CBS3 reports the officer was struck late this morning at 11th and Filbert streets during a routine traffic stop. Somehow, the driver hit the officer, who is being treated at Hahnemann University Hospital.

    Police are still investigating how the stopped car managed to hit the officer.
