Police: N.J. man stole underwear from Pa. women

Authorities say a New Jersey man is a serial underwear thief who targeted the laundry rooms of two Pennsylvania apartment complexes.

Investigators say they’ve connected 44-year-old Jeffrey Lloyd to underwear thefts dating back to November in Chester County.
Police say they arrested Lloyd on Friday after getting a report of a suspicious person at Goshen Manor Apartments. West Goshen police say Lloyd had a dozen articles of women’s underwear hidden on his person.

Authorities say surveillance footage links Lloyd to a Nov. 17 theft at the Waterview Apartments in East Goshen.

Lloyd is free on bail and online court records don’t list an attorney for him. He could not immediately be reached by phone.
