Police join sexting investigation at Phoenixville Area High School

Police have gotten involved in the investigation of a sexting incident that occurred last week at Phoenixville Area High School.

A photo of a topless female student began circulating last week, landing on the screens of many of her classmates’ phones. No details about the involved students has been released, and it’s not clear if anyone over the age of 18 received the photo.

Police and school officials are trying to determine whether charges will brought against any of the involved parties. If so, Superintendent of Schools Alan D. Fegley told the Mercury, it’ll be for the sake of education, not embarrassment.

Looks like this girl’s early Valentine’s Day gift backfired.
