Police investigate Tacony beating
Police are investigating a beating that took place inside the victim’s Tacony home early Friday morning. Two suspects entered her apartment on the 4300-block of Princeton Avenue around midnight, according to reports, and proceeded to beat her.
The woman called 9-1-1, but refused treatment at Aria Health Torresdale. The 23-year-old told police she was assaulted with a bat and a glass candle holder, and said the suspects also tried to force pills down her throat. The suspects fled without taking anything.
