Police arrest teenager for Strawberry Mansion rec center shooting

    Police have arrested a teenager in connection with the fatal weekend shooting at Mander Rec Center in Strawberry Mansion.

    Amir Jamal, 18, was arrested today for the Sunday shooting that left 30-year-old Nyeme Taylor dead. Three children, ages 6 to 15, were also wounded that day as part of the rash of weekend violence.

    According to a report from Fox29, Taylor was shot six times while intervening in a fight his son was involved in. The shootings took place during a party that drew an estimated 200 people to the rec center.
