PNC Bank parts ways with Flower Show, as was planned
Nothing to see here. PNC Bank has announced it will end its sponsorship of the Philadelphia Flower Show. If you’re hoping for a scandal, it doesn’t seem likely you’ll find it here.
A report from the Inquirer says the split has been planned since 2009. PNC still supports the Horticultural Society, despite the end of the nearly 20-year partnership, and PHS President Drew Becher already has some ideas about how to move forward.
The split seems about as amicable as Ed and Midge’s.
