Please Touch Museum places third in Top 10 Children’s Museums list

The mini supermarket, indoor tree house and antique carousel apparently aren’t just fun for parents trying to recapture their childhoods. Parents Magazine has named Philadelphia’s Please Touch Museum to its top list of children’s museums. The West Philly destination came in No. 3.
Please Touch came in behind museums in Houston and Indianapolis (whose pictures look identical to PT’s), and was lauded for its living theater shows, Wonderland exhibit and accommodations of older siblings.

Too bad tourists will have a bear of a time making it to Please Touch since it’s now tucked away in Fairmount Park miles from the rest of the city’s attractions.
