Phoenixville Blues Festival marks two years

Today from noon to 10 p.m., drown yourself in the blues at Phoenixville’s Second Annual Blues Festival at Reeves Park.

The free blues celebration, headed by the Steel City Blues Society, will feature local artists and bands, including the PorkRoll Project, Sister Blue, Georgie Bonds, and more. This year’s festival will also include a 25-minute kid’s concert.

During the evening of the Festival, Club 212 will host a pre-party fundraiser. All proceeds will aid the Give the Gift of Music Foundation. Attendees can enjoy an open bar for 2 hours, as well as free food and live music by Miss Melanie and the Valley Rats.
