Phillyist blog says goodbye
Editor Jillian Ashley Blair Ivey announced in a somewhat round-about post that the entertainment-oriented local blog is calling it quits, with the backing of its publishers, the Gothamist.
Why? Umm, does “changing commitments and changing schedules” do it for you? If not, you’re out of luck, because that’s all that’s offered…other than the assertion that there will be more posts until the end of the month, and some of the writers may be announcing their not-Philebrity destinations.
Another local blog, Brownstoner, also recently bailed on the Philadelphia market.
