Philly drops off list of drunkest cities

Philadelphians may be sobering up a little, at least according to the Daily Beast’s list of “Drunkest Cities.”

 

Last year, Philly placed 20 on the list of the 40 drunkest cities.  This year, it’s not on the list, which was pared down to 25 cities.

 

The survey uses a variety of factors to calculate how “drunk” a city is, including average drinks per person per month, and the concentration of bing drinkers.

 

We’re guessing the surveying wasn’t done on New Year’s Eve!
