Phillies fan finds way around Nationals’ plan to limit baseball games to D.C. fans

    Never, ever doubt Phillies fans.

When the Nationals made clear last week that Phils fans are not welcome at the D.C. stadium in May for the teams’ series, one Phillies fan found a loophole as wide as I-95.
Earl Driscoll of Roxborough was able to purchase a five-game flex plan through the Nationals’ website that includes the May and October series when the team takes on the Phillies.

This sours the Nationals’ “Take Back the Park” plan to keep Phillies fan from invading the D.C. stadium. Single-game tickets for the May series are open only to D.C.-area credit card holders.

Nats fans, we’ll see you in D.C.
