Philadelphia Weekly interviews a gay Philadelphia Police officer

Philadelphia Weekly is celebrating pride week, and has an interesting interview leading up to the weekend’s big events.

The NewsWorks parter spoke with Lee Marrero, a gay cop working in North Philadelphia’s 22nd District. Repoter Aaron Kase caught up with Marrero at the end of an overnight shift to talk about how what the openly gay 29-year-old says has been a good experience working with his fellow officers.
