Lincoln Drive closed Saturday 7 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Lincoln Drive will be closed on Saturday, December 17 between Wissahickon and Ridge Avenues for road maintenance. Crews will be making repairs to guide rails, inlet cleaning, patch potholes and trim trees.
Streets Commissioner Clarena I. W. Tolson said both North and Southbound lanes will be blocked from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
• Southbound Lincoln Drive traffic will be blocked at Wissahickon Drive. A marked detour will carry traffic to the end of Lincoln Drive at Ridge Avenue, by way of Walnut Lane.
• Northbound traffic will be blocked at all entrances to the south end of Lincoln Drive. No detour is provided for northbound traffic due to the numerous entrances. Suggested detours are Walnut Lane or Schoolhouse Lane.
