Philadelphia teachers picket education budget cuts

    Teachers and educational staffers around Philadelphia spent the morning picketing educational budget cuts they say will “undermine eight consecutive years of academic gains and slash vital education programs.”

     

    Jerry Jordan, president of the Philadelphia Federation of Teachers joined staffers at Lincoln High School at 7 a.m. and Mayfair School at 8 a.m.
