Philadelphia Police investigate two-story fall that injured elderly woman
An elderly woman fell out of her two-story home in Port Richmond earlier this morning, causing head injuries and a broken leg.
According to WPVI-TV, the woman fell from her window and landed on a sidewalk in an alley on the 2900 block of Jasper Street.
Neighbors report hearing a dog barking around 3:00 a.m. Sunday morning. When they went to investigate, they say they found the woman crying out for help.
WPVI-TV says firefighters had to cut a hole through a fence just to get to her.
The identity of the woman has not been released.
