Philadelphia International Airport recognized for food and retail services

Say what you will about travel delays and security pat-downs, but the Airports Council International – North America says PHL is worth a trip.

Philly International’s Airport’s Food and Shops in the B/C Terminal Complex won the council’s award for Best Speciality Retail Program, and the airport’s Minute Suites won second place for Best New Consumer Service concept.
PHL’s B/C Terminal Complex is home some of the airport’s 160-plus food, retail and service stations, Minute Suites, between Terminals A-East and B, has 13 private suites for passengers to relax, get work done or sleep between flights and delays.

The awards we announced last month amid 150 nominations.
