Philadelphia candidates to take action against Philadelphia Parking Authority

    This one’s for all the people who’ve been ticketed, booted, towed and generally annoyed by the Philadelphia Parking Authority.

    Candidates for city council and traffic court are bringing lots of maligned PPA customers to Tuesday’s budget hearing at City Hall, where they plant to issue an injunction to stop the operations of the Bureau of Administrative Adjudication.

    The BAA handles ticket hearings and appeals, and at-large council candidate Lawrence Clark says the agency does whatever it wants.
