Philabundance in the running for Toyota car giveaway

Five hundred nonprofit organizations around the country are vying for 100 cars. Over 100 days, Toyota is giving cars to organizations to help them with their missions, and today is voting day for Philabundance.

The area nonprofit devoted to wiping out hunger is up against four other organizations today — the only day you can vote to help Philabundance win the car.

The video below explains why the organization could use a new car to help with its Fresh For All program.

“To run this much-needed program, we must transport resources and, most importantly, our program coordinator to each site with confidence,” the organization explains in a release.
