Pew report shows Philadelphia’s progress relative to other cities

    Pew Charitable Trusts has released its new State of City report, which compares Philadelphia’s progress to that of nine comparable cities and the country’s 50 largest cities.

    Factors like education, public safety and arts & culture were considered.

    So what’s the verdict? We’re doing OK in some areas, given the state we were coming from. But We’ve got a lot of work to do to catch up to cities we should be on par with.
