Pennsylvania’s federal storm relief tops $186 million

    The federal disaster relief to Pennsylvania for Hurricane Irene and Tropical Storm Lee is now at almost $187 million, and the Dec. 14 application deadline is still a month away.

    The Associated Press reports FEMA figures show more than $125 million in aid for 90,272 households and $61.4 million in Small Business Administration loans.

    New Jersey, on the other hand, had received almost $230 million in federal disaster relief as of Nov. 10.
