PennDOT pushes for organ donors at DMV

You’re never too old to be an organ donor.

That’s part of the message that PennDOT is trying to spread. In an effort to increase the number of organ and tissue donors, PennDOT has launched a video campaign playing on loops in 20 of its drivers license centers state-wide.

According to CBS3, there are 8,300 people waiting for organ transplants in Pennsylvania and 4 million residents signed up as organ donors – about 45 percent.
