Penn Treaty Park begins weekend with concert, fireworks
Looking for a way to start the weekend? Penn Treaty Park in Fishtown will put on a fireworks display tonight, but not before park-goers enjoy a concert.As part of its Fantastic Fridays series, the park will host the Sensational Soul Cruisers at 6:30 p.m. to perform tributes to the likes of the Drifters, Barry White and the Commodores.Fireworks will follow, so bring the blankets, chairs and bug spray for a long night.
