Penn students launch website for whistleblowers, subletters

    Those Penn students sure are busy.

    Two new projects from students and grad have created places on the Internet for two very different crowds.
    Jimmy Tobias, a 2010 grad, recently launched Honest Appalachia, a site for the seven Appalachian-region states where whistleblowers can securely post information about government and corporate wrongdoing.

    And on the lighter side, four current students have been running PennLets.com since Sunday — a site exclusive to the university where students can post and find sublets around campus.

    Now if they could just develop an app the lets them skip all their classes. . .
