Penn State forecasts no in-state tuition hike

Penn State President Eric Barron is proposing a budget without a tuition increase for the university’s in-state undergraduates in the upcoming school year.

The proposal floated Friday still required approval from the university’s board of trustees meeting at Penn State’s Beaver campus.

The information technology fee for students also would remain flat under the proposal.
