Penn State dedicates new Catholic center to Sue Paterno

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (AP) — A new Catholic center on the Penn State campus is being dedicated to Sue Paterno, wife of veteran Penn State football coach Joe Paterno.

Officials say Sue Paterno and her husband helped raise money for the $6.5 million center over the course of a decade.

A local bishop will bless the Suzanne Pohland Paterno Catholic Student Faith Center on Saturday. The center will then celebrate its first Mass with Sue Paterno in attendance.
