Penn gets $6.5 million from alum

    A 1970 Wharton Grad has ponied up $6.5 million for Penn to use to find sustainable solutions to social and economic problems. 

    Philadelphia Business News reports the money will be used to establish $100,000 prizes to pursue the work. The prize is called the Lipman Family Prize, after donor Barry R. Lipman.
