PECO repairing underground cable after manhole explosion

    PECO crews are replacing an underground cable following an explosion and fire that started in a manhole cover in Pottstown yesterday.

    As the Mercury reports, a few customers are still without power, and the exact cause of the fire, which was electrical in nature, hasn’t been determined.
