Pearl Gosnell’s bail reduced to signature

She’s got a long battle ahead of her, but this is a pretty big win for Pearl Gosnell. The wife of abortion doctor Kermit Gosnell has had her bail significantly reduced.

KYW reports her $1 million bail has been reduced to just a signature after the judge noted Pearl’s devotion to her 13-year-old daughter prevents her from being a flight risk. But just in case, Pearl is on house arrest, and can leave only for court appearances and previously scheduled meetings with her counsel.

She’s charged with assisting her husband, who faces eight counts of murder in connection with his West Philadelphia clinic.
