Nineteen percent of Pa. Gov.-elect Tom Corbett’s contributions have come from members of his transition team. The Pennsylvania Democratic Party is calling this a disturbing pattern of Corbett’s: appointing his campaign donors top Cabinet positions. His latest nomination is Sheri Phillips. Up for the title of secretary of the state’s Department of General Services, Phillips contributed more than $14,000 to Corbett’s campaign.

A spokesman for the Pennsylvania Democratic Party said today: “Tom Corbett has shown over and over that he puts his donors above average Pennsylvanians.”
