Paulsboro woman takes pig problem to Vermont

Last year, a judge told Paulsboro, N.J. resident Florence Gruber she has 30 days to get rid of the more than two dozen pigs she kept on her property.

Instead, Gruber apparently packed up and took her pigs to Vermont. And the South Jersey Times reports Gruber’s pigs are causing problems there, too. The Essex zoning board has given Gruber until Jan. 22 to remove the pigs from her new home based on the same issues Gruber encountered in New Jersey – pigs are considered livestock, not pets, and neighbors have been complaining about her property.

Once again, dozens of pigs are looking for homes.
