The Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in Philadelphia celebrated Saturday in style, officially introducing its new civic space, Lenfest Plaza.

The celebration also featured the city’s newest sculpture, “Paint Torch” by world-renowned American artist Claes Oldenburg.

Party on the Plaza featured all kinds of activities and entertainment, including free art activities and museum tours.

For many, the highlight of Saturday’s event was the lighting of “Paint Torch” at sunset.
