Parkwood to host its largest farmers market to date

Saturday will be Parkwood’s largest-ever farmers market as it hosts eight vendors at Third Reformed Presbyterian Church, 3024 Byberry Rd.

The market opened for the first time ever on May 18, and has hosted about three vendors a week since then – Taproot Farm, McCann Farm and Wild Flour Bakery.

This week’s market will feature five guest vendors, including Amaranth Gluten Free Bakery, Neil’s Sharpening Service and Saffron Creations.

Offerings at the market will include fresh product, mushrooms, artisan baked goods and other treats. The market is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Major credit cards are accepted, as well as EBTand WIC FMNP and SFMNP vouchers.
