Pa. lawmakers reach agreement on Harrisburg takeover legislation
Two Pennsylvania lawmakers have come to terms on legislation to take over Harrisburg.
The Patriot-News reports Sen. Jeffrey Piccola, R-Dauphin County and Rep. Glen Grell, R-Hampden Twp. plan to hold a press conference today at 1:30 p.m. in the capitol to discuss the agreement in principal.
The plans address the city’s more than $300 million of incinerator debt and its yearly budget deficit.
